Research Interests: My favorite parts of history are the most human aspects, I enjoy visiting historic sites, viewing artifacts, and reading primary sources to gain perspective on the context of life for individuals in different cultures and different periods of history throughout the world. As an advocate for social progress I believe understanding the complex interactions of commerce, politics, social privilege, and religion illuminated roots of common era beliefs, bias, and habit that are essential to overcoming humanity’s self-imposed limitations towards a better quality of life for all.
