Incoming freshman or undergraduate transfer applicants who are interested in pursuing a Social Sciences Interdisciplinary major must first apply and be accepted to the University at Buffalo.

To be admitted to one of our majors, students must have a minimum UB GPA of 2.0 and have completed the following prerequisite courses for their intended concentration with a grade of C or better*:

Please note: Students who have previously been admitted provisionally and dismissed from an SSCIDP major must wait to re-apply until all criteria for non-provisional admission have been met.
