Program overview

The joint degree combines the Health and Human Services major with the Master’s in Social Work (MSW) program. This unique five-year track blends undergraduate and graduate coursework, leading to:

  • A BA in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary – Health and Human Services
  • A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree

Prerequisites

  • SSC 103: Introduction to Health and Human Services
  • PSY 101: Introduction to Psychology

Who can apply

To apply for the combined BA/MSW program, students must:

  • Be in the Health and Human Services major
  • Have junior standing
  • Meet the minimum admission requirements

Admission is very competitive. Being in the Health and Human Services major does not guarantee acceptance into the BA/MSW program.
