About the Program

The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program and the School of Law offer a combined degree between the Legal Studies major and the Law JD This unique program enables students to accelerate their course of study by completing their bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary – Legal Studies and their Juris Doctor in just six years of full-time study. Students also benefit from specific programming provided to all BA/Law JDdegree combined degree pipeline students.

Only Legal Studies students with junior standing who have met the minimum admission requirements are eligible to apply to this program. Admission is highly competitive. Acceptance to the Legal Studies major does not guarantee admission to the 3+3 Accelerated BA-JD program.
