Combined Degrees

Social Sciences Interdisciplinary offers three combined programs that allow students to complete their undergraduate and graduate studies – in Education, Social Work and Law – on an accelerated schedule, saving one year’s worth of time and tuition.

  • Health and Human Services: Combined BA/MSW Program

    The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program and the Graduate School of Social Work offer a joint degree between the Health and Human Services major and the Master’s in Social Work (MSW) program. This unique five-year program combines undergraduate and graduate coursework leading to a joint bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary – Health and Human Services and a Master of Social Work degree.
  • Legal Studies: Combined BA/JD Program

    The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program and the School of Law offer a combined degree between the Legal Studies major and the Law JD This unique program enables students to accelerate their course of study by completing their bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary – Legal Studies and their Juris Doctor in just six years of full-time study. Students also benefit from specific programming provided to all BA/Law JD degree combined degree pipeline students.
  • Health and Human Services - Child and Family Studies: Combined BA/EdM

    The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program and the Graduate School of Education offer a combined degree program between the Health and Human Services–Child and Family Studies major and the Master’s in Education (EdM). This unique five-year program combines undergraduate and graduate coursework leading to a BA in Health and Human Services–Child and Family Studies, and an Early Childhood/Childhood EdM.
