The College of Arts and Sciences offers a variety of degree tracks for those students interested in pursuing combined degrees. 

Maximize your time at UB and earn a bachelor's and master's degree. These degree programs let you shave coursework off your senior year so that you can complete your undergraduate and graduate degree in five, rather than six years. This saves you both time and money.

Accelerated BA/JD

Accelerated BA/JD program.

In partnership with UB School of Law, the College offers an Accelerated BA/JD combined degree program. This 3 + 3 program allows students to apply to the UB School of Law in their junior year. In just six years, rather than the usual seven or more, students in this program graduate from UB with both a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor, saving both time and tuition.

UB Teach

UB Teach 3 + 2 combined degree program.

The UB Teach combined degree program is a 3 + 2 program in conjunction with UB’s Graduate School of Education. Students take their undergraduate courses in the subject they want to teach and complete their master’s in education. Once the program is completed, students are eligible for the New York State professional teaching certification in grades 5-12.
