What You’ll Learn

Application Process

Students with a UB GPA of 3.0 or higher and a grade of B or higher in PSC 408 (or an equivalent statistics or math course) are encouraged to apply in the spring semester of their junior year. Accepted students begin incorporating graduate coursework during their senior year, streamlining their academic and professional journey.

Early Advisement Matters:

Interested students should consult the Director of Graduate Studies early—ideally between their 4th and 6th semesters—to map out a tailored course plan. Early planning ensures a smooth transition and maximizes the opportunities available in the program.
