The combined BA/MA in Economics program at UB is your fast track to becoming a skilled, data-driven economist. In just five years, you can earn both your Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Economics—saving time and gaining a competitive edge in today’s job market.

✔ Save Time: Complete both degrees in five years instead of six. You’ll start in the BA track and, if eligible, transition to MA coursework during your senior year.

Start in the standard BA in Economics track. By your junior year, if you meet GPA requirements, you can apply to the BA/MA track. Once admitted, you'll begin your graduate-level coursework.
