Geography studies the location and arrangement of human and natural phenomena in space and the relationships between people and their environments. The Department of Geography is an intellectually challenging community that offers five specializations tailored to allow for growth within the discipline and maximize future employment opportunities.
Our department’s experiential learning opportunities provide students with the chance to deepen their understanding of the world beyond the classroom.
Education and training in geography offer graduates a comprehensive background and skill-set for real-world problem-solving. Our students have found success as geographic information systems specialists, environmental analysts, meteorologists, data scientists, urban planners, international trade analysts and more.
