Geography studies the location and arrangement of human and natural phenomena in space and the relationships between people and their environments. The Department of Geography is an intellectually challenging community that offers five specializations tailored to allow for growth within the discipline and maximize future employment opportunities.
Our department’s experiential learning opportunities provide students with the chance to deepen their understanding of the world beyond the classroom.
Education and training in geography offers graduates a comprehensive background and skill-set for real-world problem solving. Our students have found success as cartographers, climatologists, computer analysts, geographic information systems specialists, meteorologists, urban planners and more.
