Student Awards

There are several awards available in recognition of the outstanding academic, professional and service work that students do in Global Gender and Sexuality Studies. Awards are available for undergraduate and graduate students.

Undergraduate Awards

Outstanding Senior

This award has been established to recognize students who have demonstrated exemplary scholarship and leadership as seniors in the Global Gender Studies program.

This award has been established to recognize students who have demonstrated exemplary scholarship and research ability in the Global Gender Studies program.

Graduate Awards

Syllabus Award

The Syllabus Award is given to a continuing graduate student for a syllabus designed and taught in the department. It is awarded based on pedagogical formalities and innovation, grounding in gender studies, and overall development in assignments supporting learning outcomes.
