Students in Cognitive Science use an interdisciplinary approach to understand the workings of the mind. This is applied to both organisms and machines, modeled through computational processes and studied biologically. Emergent properties such as intelligence and creativity are examined. Courses are taken from psychology, linguistics, computer science, philosophy, anthropology and neurosciece.
