What is Physics?

Physics is the fundamental science underlying the investigation of all natural phenomena, propelling many advancements in present-day science and technology. The mission of the UB Department of Physics is to provide students with an outstanding educational foundation, consisting of comprehensive and rigorous coursework, laboratory training and hands-on research experience.
