Psychological Assessment Services

The PSC offers comprehensive assessments (IQ, ADHD, achievement, personality)  for children, adolescents and adults. Assessments typically require 2-3 sessions to complete diagnostic interviewing and structured testing, as well as a feedback session to review the assessment results. The full process may take up to a month, although the length of testing depends on the nature and needs of each individual client.

Adult Assessment

The total number of adult assessments we can provide depends on the number of clinicians working in the PSC. Due to our limited availability, requests for assessments will be considered just prior to the start of each semester. We will accept clients on a rolling basis, until we reach capacity, starting on:

  • Fall semester: August 1
  • Spring semester: December 1

Our assessment slots fill quickly, so we encourage you to reach out promptly on one of the above dates, either via email or calling the PSC (716-645-3697). Please monitor the status of our scheduling waitlist (whether the list has openings or is closed) below.

Scheduling Waitlist Status for Adult Assessments

Our adult scheduling waitlist is currently: CLOSED.

Due to high demand, we are not able to accept new adult assessment clients at this time. Please check back prior to our next adult scheduling waitlist opening date (see above).

Child Assessment

The total number of child assessments we can provide depends on the number of clinicians working in the PSC. Requests for child assessment services are accepted on a rolling basis. Please monitor the status of our scheduling waitlist (whether the list has openings or is closed) below.

Scheduling Process

When you contact the PSC to request an appointment, we will gather information regarding your reason for seeking an assessment. If we are able to add you to our scheduling waitlist, once a clinician is available you will be contacted to set up your initial appointment. At this time, you will also be mailed a packet of information to complete and bring with you to your first appointment.
