Psychological Assessment Services

The Psychological Services Center (PSC) provides psychological assessment for children, adolescents and adults. Evaluations help clarify strengths and challenges, answer diagnostic questions and guide treatment planning, school services or referrals. Assessments include interviewing and standardized testing over several sessions, followed by a detailed feedback meeting.

What we assess

Our assessment services include evaluation of:

  • Intellectual abilities (IQ)
  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Learning difficulties and academic achievement
  • Personality and emotional functioning

What to expect

Assessments typically include two to three sessions to complete clinical interviewing and standardized testing to help us understand your history and current concerns. Most clients complete these sessions over several weeks, depending on the referral question and individual needs. You will then meet for a feedback session to review results and recommendations. A final written report will be provided within 4 to 6 weeks.
