Honor Societies
Our department is proud to host vibrant honor societies dedicated to the Spanish, Italian and French languages. These societies celebrate academic excellence, cultural engagement, and community involvement.

Eligibility:
In order to be inducted in the Gamma Kappa Alpha Society students need to meet two basic requirements: you must have taken at least one advanced course in Italian and have a B average in Italian courses.
Membership:
The one-time membership fee for each new member is $30 which is sent to the national office to cover expenses. The induction ceremony for the Society's new members will be held in the Spring semester. During the ceremony each inductee will receive a certificate and a honor cord.
