MEMORIA, the 2026 Senior Thesis Exhibition, is a showing of 24 students’ self-directed projects developed over the course of their final year in UB’s Fine Arts BFA program. The culmination of two semesters of research and studio exploration, these bodies of work span a diverse range of media and interdisciplinary influences.
Caught between dread and hope for the future, the artists turn to personal and collective memory. MEMORIA articulates a vast collection of memories and experiences: the familial and the geographic, the political and the spiritual, the imperial and the art-historical.
This Senior Thesis cohort was led by Professor Matt Kenyon.
