As our world rapidly changes, so do the needs of industry. Research tells us that there is a growing need for programs that train students in multiple disciplines so that they are prepared to address complex problems once they have joined the workforce.
As a result, the fastest growth in master’s enrollments is coming from flexible programs like IDP. Many who are studying and training for careers in areas like data analytics, arts management, cognitive science, health informatics or computational linguistics are doing so through interdisciplinary programs.
Students considering the Interdisciplinary Program can choose between a degree in Humanities, Social Sciences or Natural Sciences.
