Elena V. McLean is a professor in the Department of Political Science at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. She specializes in the study of international institutions and international political economy, with a focus on foreign aid, economic sanctions and environmental cooperation. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Political Science, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Politics, Journal of Peace Research, and other journals.
