Research Highlight

"My research focuses on exploring oxygen as a reagent and/or oxidant for copper-catalyzed reactions that are useful for the synthesis of nitrogen and oxygen based heterocycles.

I enjoy a variety of resources that the Department of Chemistry and UB at large provide to extend my knowledge and skills in organic chemistry and beyond.

In my free time, I enjoy attending concerts, traveling, running, cycling and kayaking."

Congratulations, Tomasz!
