Biography

I am interested in 20th century Latin American history, specifically how the intersection of politics and religion impact reproductive health in the Southern Cone. I am particularly interested in how religion impacted medical professionals and institutions, and how that ultimately affected advancements in public health and access to contraceptives.

I was born and raised in Defiance, Ohio. I have two dogs, Cora and Rubble, and love being active with them. I also practice yoga and enjoy trying new foods.
