Breanna Pelonero, MA Student

Breanna Pelonero is from Buffalo, NY. She is currently completing her MA while also teaching high school global studies. Breanna is a member of Phi Alpha Theta.  Her MA thesis focuses on how enslaved and free women of color utilized African cultural and religious practices to combat racial hierarchies in New Orleans in the first half of the 19th century. She is interested in pursuing a PhD upon completion of her MA.
