Sarah Wack, MA Student

HIstory MA Student, Sarah Wack.

Sarah is a History MA student and a part-time student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs EdM program at the University at Buffalo (UB). She completed her Bachelor of Arts, History—Combined at UB in 2022 and was a University Honors College Scholar. Sarah is also a member of the Historical Honors Society Phi Alpha Theta and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society. She was the recipient of UB’s College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Senior in History Award in 2022 and was recently awarded Best in Conference at the Phi Alpha Theta Regional Conference for her work on Julia Ward Howe. Sarah is currently serving as the Vice President of the Graduate History Association.

Sarah has also worked in numerous capacities at UB including at the Center for Excellence in Writing, the Career Design Center, and the Office of Student Conduct. She is currently the Graduate Assistant for Leadership Education in the Office of Student Engagement. Her research interests include 19th Century America, the History of Education, Antiquity, and Gender and Sexuality Studies. Sarah is from the City of Buffalo and outside of school she loves to run, watch Netflix, and discuss the Roman Empire with Tim Horton’s hot chocolate!
