The Undergraduate Student Services Team is committed to strengthening the undergraduate experience through the following initiatives:
- Enhancing student experience and retention by offering support across related majors, rather than limiting services to individual departments.
- Delivering student-centered services by embracing technology and modern communication methods, moving beyond traditional delivery models.
- Improving messaging consistency through strategic collaboration with CAS Student Advisment and Services, 1Capen and other key campus partners.
- Empowering students with clear guidance on institutional policies, procedures and departmental expectations.
These efforts reflect our continued commitment to fostering a supportive, seamless and responsive environment for all undergraduates.
The Undergraduate Student Services staff member serves as the primary point of contact for undergraduate students seeking guidance, assistance, or referrals. They function as an internal liaison, facilitating communication and coordination between the Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS), the Undergraduate Affairs Committee, faculty, prospective and current students and relevant University offices.
