My research focuses on the synthesis and coordination chemistry of novel organomanganese and organoruthenium complexes towards catalysis. Our work seeks to probe the structures of intermediates that are typically implicated in catalysis.
I appreciate the tight-knit community in our department; everyone is accessible and excited to talk about new chemistry. Our lab has active discussions about the latest research in our field and how we can apply these findings to our own work.
Outside of the lab, I like to solve NYT Crossword puzzles or watch NBA basketball (Go Raps!). I also like to watch new movies and TV shows with my wife.
