Research Highlight

"My research is focused on preparation and separation of carbon nanomaterial by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and the development of novel diamond-based stationary phases for separation science. Our goals are to separate and purify the complex carbon nanodots mixture and also to advance the HPLC column technology.

I enjoy being a graduate student at UB because of the friendly atmosphere, opportunities to learn in the Chemistry Department and UB. I’m fortunate to get all the support from my professor Dr. Colón. I also enjoy the freedom to explore the unknown world of science.

Outside of lab, I enjoy spending time with my friends, ice-skating, skiing and going to restaurants."

Congratulations, Zuqin!
