The Department of Media Study at The State University of New York at Buffalo is inviting applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position. We seek a scholar in the humanities or arts with a film concentration for this full-time non-tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will have experience teaching film theory and film history and will be able to teach advanced seminars to majors as well as large classes to diverse students from across the university. In addition, the candidate should have experience teaching and developing online film courses. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to develop the Interdisciplinary BA in Film Studies and Interdisciplinary MA in Humanities with a concentration in Film and Media Study. In addition, the selected candidate will teach six courses over the academic year while maintaining an active program of scholarship and/or artistic production in his or her area of expertise.
