Twelve finalists competed in last Friday's virtual Three Minute Thesis competition. But it was Azalia Muchransyah who took the top prize for her presentation titled "HIV PARA-DOC: Using Documentary Films to Reduce HIV Stigma in Indonesia". During her three minute presentation Muchransyah explained how her research aims to illuminate the status of media activism, especially documentary film, in contemporary Indonesia.
Three other participants took home prizes, including second-place award winner Amanda Seccia, third place award winner Saber Mearmardoost, and people's choice award winner Yuhao Shi.
