Prof. Cody Mejeur publishes article in the first issue of the new journal Regeneration
"Burning Closets and Nights in the Woods,"
Cody's article, "Burning Closets and Nights in the Woods," is on queer pastorals, anti-pastorals, and ecological alliances in video games. It uses anti-pastorals and Rust Belt environments in games to challenge the tendency to romanticize and idealize “nature,” and questions what we lose and what violences we do when we assume that nonhuman beings want anything to do with us.
The new journal Regeneration, focuses on environmental humanities and continues the work started in the journal, Resilience.
