DMS Grad Jacqueline Bast receives Mark Diamond Research Award

Please join me in congratulating Jacqueline Bast on her award from the Mark Diamond Research Fund in support of travel and material expenses related to her thesis: Experiencing Virtual Reality, A trajectory through varying types of embodiment experiences in virtual reality environments. 

Jacqueline will be conducting a site visit of the Electronic Visualization Labratory (EVL) at the University of Illinois Chicago, an internationally-renowned interdisciplinary laboratory conducting research into the development of highly-immersive virtual reality experiences, as well as acquiring a dedicated VR headset for her own studio practice, the outcome of which is a component of here final submission and public gallery presentation.
